Mass media experience: Since 1995, has appeared as a guest commentator on BBC World and BBC WorldService (May 29, 2005), Euronews (1995) and other TV or radio media.

Director of the Brussels Bureau and permanent delegate to the Union of Industrial and Employers Confederations of Europe (UNICE, now BUSINESS EUROPE, Brussels, 3 years, 1991-1994); active member of 3 out of 5 policy committees (ECOFIN, Industrial and Social Affairs) and 4+ of the 50+ working groups (on transport, SMES, regional policy, economic policy, etc).
  2. Business adviser to SMEs in the services industry (1988-1989)
  3. Communications advice and media relations services for a dotcom, an educational services firm and a fairs organiser (2001-2003)
  4. Policy adviser to the Economic and Social Council of Greece (1996)
  5. Policy Adviser to a Greek Deputy Minister of Social Affairs (1996-1997)
  6. Public and EU Affairs management for a multinational company, reporting to the country manager Greece and the EU Public Affairs HQ in Amsterdam (1998-1999)

  • Participated in the UNICE delegation to the first ever Environmental Dialogue with the European Commission.
  • Participated actively in the National Dialogue for Competitiveness, Growth and Employment between the Greek Ministries of Economy, Finance and Social Affairs and the main National Social Partners in Greece (which lasted 6+ months, 1997)

Took 3+ years off his work (2005-2008) to stay at his native country and provide daily care for sick parent and daily manage family matters.
